STAINED GLASS STUDIO

Sophie's Garden is my first substantial glass piece, created during my college years, and inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's painting, Irises at Saint-Remy.  I also wanted to make something to mark the recent passing of my grandmother. My challenge was to translate a painting into glass, as well as to capture the range of colors in both flower and foliage using the scrap glass available to me.
