STAINED GLASS STUDIO

Tea with Tiffany is my take on a design used in both the Tiffany Cobweb Lamp and, in a more obscure home accessory produced during that time, the tea screen. I saw this lamp in person at an exhibit of Tiffany's mosaic work at Corning Museum of Glass, and then later came across the tea screen adaptation of the design in  a catalog of Tiffany's works. I was charmed that these objects of beauty included cobwebs, and just had to reproduce it somehow. The triptych format is a reference to the tea screen, and the abundance of spiderwebs is a nod to the lamp.
